Yesterday, Patrick Thorn (aka marshman) recorded his one-thousandth record on the UKDFD. He is only the second person to reach this figure, although there are one or two others that are not too far behind!

The first find Patrick recorded on the database was a potin coin of the Cantii, which he uploaded on 28 September 2005, just a few weeks after the UKDFD was launched!

A thousand recorded finds is an impressive achievement, particularly when the quality of the finds and the images is as good as it is in Patrick's case.

We offer Patrick our congratulations on reaching this milestone, and as a gesture of recognition, we have also invited him to join the UKDFD team. We are pleased to announce that he has accepted the invitation.
