    An important reminder to recorders

Recording finds on the UKDFD is subject to a number of important terms and conditions, to which all recorders agree when they register with the scheme.

One of these conditions (3.5) is that records on the database are permanent, and their removal, or any change to them, is solely at the discretion of the UKDFD. This is to ensure that the often very considerable amount of work undertaken by the UKDFD Team is not wasted.

Similar conditions apply when you record with other national databases, such as the PAS, CCI and EMC.
