Description:
|
A cast copper-alloy crotal bell with iron pellet ('pea-clapper') in situ. The suspension loop is sub-rectangular in form with an as-cast aperture. The sound holes are of the normal type: circular, two in each cup, the lower pair conjoined by a slit. Both halves of the bellchamber are decorated with a sunburst design.
