Description: A cast copper-alloy crotal bell complete with iron pellet 'pea clapper'. The suspension loop is of rectangular form with a drilled hole. The upper part of the bellchamber has two circular holes. The lower part has a sound bow, comprising two circular holes conjoined by a slit. Both halves of the bellchamber are decorated with a similar sunburst design. There is a circular moulded bellfounder's mark, possibly a depicting a face, on one side of the sound slot.
