A late medieval lead-alloy (pewter) token of the ’cross and pellets’ type.
A wide range of tokens of this general type is illustrated on plates 4 and 5 of the reference shown below. There are many different motifs used on the obverses, and minor variations of the ’cross and pellet’ reverses, but the broad borders of oblique rays are common to all.
