A large cast copper-alloy crotal bell. The bell is complete with its iron pea clapper in situ. The suspension loop is of rectangular shape. There are two circular sound holes in the top half, and a sound bow in the bottom half comprising two circular holes conjoined by a slit. The lower half is decorated with a ísunburstí pattern; the upper half is plain. The makerís initials, WG, are present on one side of the bow, with a founderís mark opposite. There is a circumferential rib between the two halves. The name associated with the initials WG is uncertain.
