Description: A square double-sided coin-weight for checking the gold angel of James I's second coinage (1612-1619).

Obverse: Crown over XI.S (10 shillings), all within beaded circle (Crowned I verification mark to left).
Reverse: St. Michael slaying dragon and the legend I R BRI, all within beaded circle.
