An incomplete copper-alloy crotal bell, the surfaces of which appear to be tinned. The suspension loop has an angular pointed top and a circular hole. The sound holes in the complete bell would have been of the normal type: circular, two in each half, the lower pair conjoined by a slit. The upper and lower halves of the bell are decorated with sunburst and fish-scale patterns respectively. The two halves are separated by a pronounced circumferential rib.
