Description:

A copper-alloy finger ring with the inscription 'IHESVS' and 'R' repeated three times around the outside diameter of the hoop. The R's are oriented at 180 degrees to the rest of the inscription. The lettering is of Lombardic form and is moulded in sunken relief between plain borders either side of the band.
