A button-and-loop fastener of the Roman period. The fastener has a rectangular button and a triangular loop. Decoration on the button is composed of geometrical enamelled cells, two lozenge-shaped cells in the centre, and six triangular cells around the edges. The lozenge-shaped cells appear to have been enamelled in red and the triangular cells in green, but due to decomposition, the colours remain uncertain.

The exact function of these items is uncertain. They may be clothing fasteners, but other theories include their possible use on horse harness or sword scabbards.
