A circular copper-alloy seal matrix of the medieval period. It has a tapering circular-section (possibly worn hexagonal-section) handle, terminating in a shouldered suspension loop. The intaglio device is a stag's head with a cross between its antlers. The Latin legend is * TIMETE DEVM - Fear God.

The stag with cross between its antlers is the emblem of St Hubert, patron saint of hunters. It represents an apparition that he encountered while out hunting, and which led to him leading a religious life.
