A medieval copper-alloy pendant in the form of a teardrop-shaped bell. The bell has been cast in a flat, fan-shaped form, with a loop at the apex, and four petal-shaped projections at the base. The casting has then been rolled to form an elongated cone with a seam, and the four base projections have been folded in to retain the pellet. The interior of the bell has been filled with soil, and it is uncertain whether the pellet survives. Probably for use on horse harness.
