Complete example but coin tray is damaged. Vertical arm has an acorn finial with cross-hatching and the main body has chamfered edges and simple engraved horizontal lines with punched dots inbetween. The slightly raised boss above the slot has an engraved double-line saltire with punched dots in the angles and the lower terminal is slightly pointed. The balance arm has an incised running zigzag pattern with dots in the angles. The coin tray is incomplete but one dot is showing and the tray is broken along an incised line indicating that it may have had an engraved saltire cross. Height 8.1cm.
