Description:		The female element of a silver clog clasp made from sheet metal. It is sub-rectangular with three rectangular tension adjustment slots. The edges are scalloped and the front has incised border lines. The anchor is stamped with the lion passant assay mark and a maker's mark, but the latter is unclear. The absence of a duty mark may indicate that it was made prior to 1784, unless it was exempt by virtue of its size.
