Description:		A copper-alloy brooch/buckle of the medieval period. The frame, now distorted, is circular in section and has two opposing zoomorphic projections, probably representing snake heads. The heads are turned over inwards to act as hook mechanisms. There are opposing restrictions on the inner surface of the frame, which held the central bar and possibly a plate, the pin is missing. Description:		A single loop folding strap clasp with an incomplete integral spacer. The frame is sub-rectangular and has two casting spurs on each side. The integral spacer has lost its forked end, and the front and back plates, which would originally have been soldered to it, are now missing. Traces of solder, however, remain on the spacer. The rotating closure is also missing. For a more complete example of generally similar type, see UKDFD 35316.

Description:		A small circular copper-alloy shoe buckle of medieval to early post-medieval date. The frame is of stout proportions for its small size and has a constriction to fit the (missing) pin on one side and a notch to serve as a pin-rest diametrically opposite. Description:		A folding strap clasp with plate. The plate is rectangular and made of folded sheet metal. It is decorated on the front face with a circle of small perforations - four peripheral, one at the centre - all within an inscribed circle. The clasp frame is sub-rectangular and of the cast type. It retains a fragment of the sheet-metal closure on the outer end. The end of a leather strap survives within the plate, secured by a single rivet at the attachment end.
