Description:		Halfpenny of Robert III of Scotland. The coin is worn and the edge is damaged, with very little remaining of the legends. It would appear to be an example of the second issue, as the bust and crown differ markedly from those on a clear first issue coin (UKDFD 7154). The obverse also has an initial cross, which is absent on the first issue coin. Second issue halfpennies were struck at Edinburgh and Perth, but attribution of the present coin isn't possible due to loss of almost all of the reverse legend.
