No, we haven't changed anything in respect of confidential information. The fields relating to the location of your find remain as follows:

Findspot: A required and viewable field on your record.
County: A required and viewable field on your record
Parish: A required but hidden field on your record
Grid Reference: An optional but hidden field on your record

The upload page clearly labels the above fields to let you know which are viewable and which are not. It is also important to note that the extensive mapping facilities on the present database are linked only to the viewable location fields, not to the hidden ones. The subscription model we have introduced with the 2018 version of UKDFD also restricts viewing of any record to registered members only.
